What is Papa Johns Drone Delivery?
Drone Delivery is an experimental delivery offering currently available for a limited number of stores. We’ll deliver your food right to your house using a drone flown by FAA certified pilots.
How does Papa Johns Drone Delivery work?
We’ve partnered with a drone delivery service to deliver your Papa Johns order. You can sign up for SMS alerts on your order confirmation page, just like with a regular order. You can view your order’s ETA and delivery status via PapaTrack.
How do I order Drone Delivery?
You can place your Drone Delivery order on the website. If it’s available in your area, you will be prompted to opt-in to Drone Delivery, and you can choose an item from the special Drone Delivery Menu.
Due to address eligibility, drone availability, weather, and other factors involved in flying pizza, drone delivery may not always be available for your order.
Where and when will Papa Johns Drone Delivery be available?
Papa Johns Drone Delivery will be flying within a one-mile radius of store #777 in Powder Springs, GA:
4400 Brownsville Road
Powder Springs, GA 30127
Drone delivery will be available daily, from store open to 6pm (subject to change).
What can I order from Papa Johns Drone Delivery?
Drone Delivery is currently available for specific, single menu items. You’ll be able to choose from a special Drone Delivery menu that only features items that meet the size and weight limits for drone delivery.
- Includes: Small, Medium and Large Original Crust pizzas; Epic Stuffed Crust pizzas; Thin Crust pizzas; or Gluten-Free Crust pizzas.
- Excludes: Drinks, extras, Extra Large Original Crust pizzas; Papadias; sides; or desserts.
This menu may change.
How long will my Papa Johns Drone Delivery order take to arrive?
Your delivery time will be calculated like any delivery time, taking into account the prep, bake, loading and delivery time. Of course, since there are no roads, the delivery time is the quickest part. Once you place an order, ETA will be shown via Papa Track. We estimate Drone Delivery will take 25-35 minutes from the time you order.
What are the requirements for making a Papa Johns Drone Delivery order?
You must be at an eligible address within delivery range of the store.
Payment must be made by debit, credit, gift card, PayPal or Visa Checkout. We do not accept cash payments for drone delivery.
Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to apartment complexes at this time. We hope to offer apartment delivery in the future.
What happens when my pizza is delivered?
Ideally you should be present for the delivery – videos and photos are welcome! Once the drone reaches your location, it will fly to 15 feet (3 meters), and lower your order to the grass or driveway for you to retrieve. Please do not attempt to take the order directly from the drone before it’s released.
