NOVO NORDISK CONTINUES AS PRESENTING SPONSOR FOR 2012 LOUISVILLE TRIPLE CROW OF RUNNING

New Race Dates Announced for Major Sponsors: Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Rodes For Him and For Her and Papa John’s International

Louisville, Kentucky (June 29, 2011) –The Louisville Triple Crown of Running race directors are pleased to officially announce the continuing support of their Presenting Sponsor – Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals, Inc.  2012 marks the ninth year Novo Nordisk will sponsor the race series.

The Louisville Triple Crown of RunningSM consists of three road races of varying distances. In 2011 the races had nearly 30,000 runners participating in all three races.  This resulted in a record attendance for all three events, as well as a record donation earlier this month to the WHAS Crusade for Children of $160,243, nearly a 20% increase. The Triple Crown series is proud to be ranked 4th of all civic organizations that donated to the 2011 Crusade.
