Qualifying Time Requirements:
Men: 1:05:00
Women: 1:20:00
Race results must be from 2010 or 2011 races. If you completed the 2011 Papa John's 10 Miler, you will automatically be considered for, but not guaranteed, a seeded position. If you've recently finished a ten-mile race with a better time than you achieved at the 2011 Papa John's 10 Miler, please submit proof of your race time(s) to better your chances of receiving a seeded position. Runners who are granted a seeded position will be given bib numbers 1-200 and will line up nearest the starting line.
Training

Since 1853, the YMCA of Greater Louisville has been helping individuals achieve their full potential in spirit, mind and body. In order to help you reach your Louisville Triple Crown of Running fitness goals, the YMCA is proud to offer the official Triple Crown Training Program.
The Training Program will meet once a week at each of the YMCA’s seven convenient locations:

The first Triple Crown Training program meetings are available now. Contact your local YMCA branch for details.
The cost of the training program is $30 for YMCA members and $50 for non facility members. The fee includes a special Triple Crown of Running Training Program t-shirt for all participants. In addition, non facility members will have access to the YMCA and its facilities during the entire 16-week training runs
Is the Triple Crown Training Program for you? The YMCA suggests individuals interested in joining the training program run an average of 2 to 3 miles, 2 to 3 times a week.

Fleet Feet has many options and programs
Once again, Fleet Feet Sports Training Programs are gearing up. They have a lot of options and programs to choose from this year.
Fleet Feet's traditional free program gives you a training framework and guidelines to participate in the Louisville Triple Crown of Running and other marathons and half-marathons. Also included are group runs from the store on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings featuring a variety of training routes for that weeks training.
Looking for a training plan? Well, you're in luck! We have an entire library of online training plans designed for people of ALL experience levels, from the first-timer to the seasoned veteran. Log and track your cardio and strength training workouts, map your favorite training routes, track your shoe mileage, connect with other athletes on our community message boards, access a suite of training calculators, and so much more. The entrance to the Expo is near Gate 6, on the West side of the stadium, near the railroad tracks. Take the elevator to the 3rd floor. The expo is inside the Brown & Williamson Club.
Vendors should use the Freight Elevator, near Gate 8, for loading/unloading.

Parking
Complimentary parking is available in most lots surrounding the Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium, where the race finishes. Parking is available in the Green Parking Lots only at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.
PLEASE NOTE: If you park inside the stadium (Red Lots), you may not be able to leave the parking area until after the race is complete (after 11:00 AM) and the roads are opened. The racecourse includes Floyd Street where all stadium (Red Lot) parking enters and exits. A flyer with detailed parking options will be included in participants' race packets. Exiting Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium after the Race
University of Louisville
Complimentary parking is available in the “Green” lot only at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium. There are four (4) exits from the Green lot that will take you to Floyd Street; then turn Right on Floyd to Crittenden.

IMPORTANT: The “Red Lot” at the stadium is not available for parking. If you park in the Red Lot, you won’t be allowed to leave until after the race, which will be after 11 a.m. or when the roads are re-opened.
Lots at the corner of Floyd and Warnock Streets will also be open for parking. You may wish to park in the University’s parking garage on Floyd Street, located north of the stadium. However, this is a "pay" parking facility.
Churchill DownsThe lot at Churchill Downs, including in front of the Kentucky Derby Museum, will be open, for free.
Central Station/KrogerPlease do not park in the Central Station/Kroger lot on the southeast corner of Third Street and Central Avenue. Cars are subject to be towed from this location
Additional Parking OptionsAmple street parking is available both north and west of Papa John's Cardinal Stadium. Please consider carpooling to the Papa John's 10 Miler and allow yourself plenty of time to park and walk to the start line. The race begins at 8AM.
Sweats Shuttle
Trucks will be at the Start taking bags (which must be pre-labeled with your name and phone number) until 8 am.
Trucks will be parked at the Finish (Gate 9) for bag retrieval.
Awards
Each participant will receive a Nike technical race shirt commemorating their participation in the 2012 Papa John's 10 Miler. Papa John's 10 Miler will present cash awards on race day to the following:

Registration
Parents may register their children online (please visit the Registration page of this website), in person at the Papa John's 10 Miler Expo Friday, March 30, 2012 (Late Registration/Packet Pickup) or on Race Day Saturday, March 31, 2012. The fee is $5 per child.The following Fun Runs races will be held:
• The Pepperoni Race (50 yard dash) – Ages 3 – 5
• The Cheese Race (100 yard dash) – Ages 6 and 7
• The Tomato Sauce Race (400 yards) – Ages 8 and above
Fun Run PerksAll Fun Run participants will receive a premium race tee shirt and a sack pack of goodies, as well as a commemorative Chick-fil-A cow award at the finish line.
