Putting the Pieces Together: Becoming a Papa John’s Franchisee

Complete the on-line Application/Request For Consideration
A representative from the Global Franchising team will review your application and contact you to discuss.

Submit a Business Development Plan to Papa John’s. This plan should include a resume and personal financial statement for each member of your group, as well as your plan on how you would build out the market under consideration.

Where required, an FOC (Franchise Offering Circular) will be sent to you for your review. We encourage you to contact some existing Papa John’s franchisees to discuss sales volumes, operations, profit margins, etc. (FOC disclosure is not required for all International markets.)

Interview/Guest Visit
A representative from Papa John’s schedules an interview for you at our corporate office in Louisville, KY. During this visit you will have the opportunity to get an overview of the Papa John’s system as well as visit several Papa John’s restaurants.

Approval Process
Your request to franchise with Papa John’s goes before our Franchise Review Board for approval.

Enter into an Agreement
Once approved, you will work with our franchising team to sign your Master Franchise or Development Agreement.
