to children within a 400-mile radius
of their home in Louisville, Kentucky,
Blue Apple Players provides educational
theater programs that reach 130,000
children across a ten state region
each year. Having performed on stages
from the Kennedy Center to Miami/Dade
County Auditorium, Blue Apple Players
provides many young people with
their first exposure to the Arts.
Under the guidance of co-founders,
Paul Lenzi and Geraldine Ann Snyder,
Blue Apple Players has established
a reputation for excellence that
was recently confirmed by being
named a recipient of the highly
coveted LEAP Award (Leadership and
Excellence in Arts Participation).
Presented by the Reader’s Digest
Wallace Foundation this prestigious
award was given to only 21 groups
nationwide.
Papa
John’s has been a partner with
Blue Apple Players since 1997. When
John and Annette Schnatter brought
their children to a Blue Apple Players’
musical, they were taken with the
high quality shows and were eager
to support Blue Apple’s programs.
Papa John’s is proud to partner
with Blue Apple Players and has
given more than $100,000 to support
and enhance their programs.
